4. Cookies
Essential cookies, always on: a sign-in session cookie keeps you signed in until you sign out or it expires; qs-locale remembers the language, country and display currency you choose, for up to one year. We also keep your light or dark theme in your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device. These are strictly necessary or requested by you, so they do not need consent.
Analytics cookies, only with your consent: if you accept them, we use Google Analytics, which sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<id> (up to two years) to measure, in aggregate, which pages and features are used. We do not use it for advertising and have switched off Google's advertising features. Google receives your IP address and usage data and acts as our service provider.
Nothing from Google Analytics loads until you accept. You can decline, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page; withdrawing stops measurement and removes the cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but sign-in will not work without the session cookie. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
5. Analytics
We may use analytics technologies to understand how visitors and users interact with Quantisight. Analytics may help us understand which features are used, how users navigate the platform, performance issues, and general usage patterns.
Analytics runs only with your consent, through Google Analytics, as described in section 4.
6. Marketing
Where permitted by applicable law, we may send information about Quantisight, new features, research content, or other relevant communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
Service and transactional communications may continue where necessary.
7. Sharing Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Quantisight:
- Google (Gemini API): processes the questions you ask the AI assistant, and the portfolio, watchlist and market data the assistant looks up to answer them, in order to generate a response
- Stripe: processes payments and subscriptions for paid plans. Card details are entered on Stripe's pages and are not stored by us
- Neon: hosts the database that stores your account, portfolios, watchlists and chat history
- Our application hosting and infrastructure providers
- Google and Apple, if you choose to sign in with them
- Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies
- Professional advisers, where needed
Market data shown in Quantisight comes from a data provider; no personal information is sent to it. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect our rights, users, or services.
8. International Transfers
Some providers, including Google and Stripe, may process information outside the EEA, for example in the United States. Where applicable, we rely on legally recognized safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Data Retention
We keep your account, portfolio, watchlist and chat data for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual chats, holdings and watchlists yourself at any time; if you ask us to delete your account, we delete this data too.
Payment and invoice records are kept for as long as accounting law requires (in Sweden, generally seven years). Other information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
10. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights including:
- Access
- Correction
- Deletion
- Restriction
- Objection
- Data portability
- Withdrawal of consent
To use any of these rights, including deleting your account and all data in it, or to receive a copy of your data, contact us. We reply within one month.
12. Children's Privacy
Quantisight is not intended for individuals who are not legally permitted to use the service. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information in circumstances where such collection would violate applicable law.
13. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
